Selectmen’s Meeting
December 13, 2017
Attending: Juliann Vanderhoop, Jim Newman, Gary Haley, Angela Cywinski, Carolyn Feltz Jeffrey Madison
Chairman Newman called the meeting to order at 5:36 p.m.
Angela Cywinski gave a presentation on behalf of the Board of Assessors generally stating that the Department of Revenue had approved a tax rate of $5.48 per thousand and announce that she had added $40 million in valuation to the Town and that there was a excess levy capacity of over $34K.
The Selectmen unanimously voted the following:
- Minimum residential factor of “1"
- Not to adopt a discount exemption for open space
- Not to approve a residential exemption
Selectmen agreed to meet with the Assessors on January 4, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. at the Town Offices.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:55 p.m.
