Meeting was called to order at 4:01 P.M.

(Deferred Action)
There was discussion of warrant articles to fund legal fees. Jim Newman had raised the possibility of borrowing money to pay legal fees. The Board voted to defer any action to the Selectmen’s next meeting on September 17 to allow Town Counsel time to answer the question of whether borrowing would be allowed.
Parking at Library

Anonymous Gift to Town
(Voted to accept Gift of $50K)
Board discussed receiving a potential tax exempt, anonymous gift in the amount of $50,000.00 to assist in funding improvements to the picnic area at the Cliffs. Both Juli and Gary voted to accept the donation.
Rodent Problem at Cliffs
(No Action Taken)
Board discussed a potential problem with rodent infestation at the Cliffs. No action was taken.
